Shades of Grey, my intermediate-advanced elemental wild equine RPG is back due to popular demand. Shades has been around for over four years now and I was about to let it retire, but my members wouldn't let me! Plot Intro

Grey valley was once a place of order. Life moved forward ceaselessly and everyone followed the old traditions. The elemental leaders -one Lord and Lady of each element, Earth, Air, Fire, and Water- ruled the lands. The Lords and Ladies possessed special powers and used them for both good and ill. Fights were fought and peace was had, but the structure of the society held fast.

Until one day...

Times of change washed over Grey valley, and one by one the elemental thrones fell. Some of the leaders disappeared mysteriously, never to be seen again. Others died of age or of sickness, and still others hid away, waiting for better times. Life would never be the same again.

Slowly the equines of Grey valley forgot their old alliances and their elemental loyalties. They began rebuilding their lives one step at a time. They used all of the old puzzle pieces, life, love, birth, death, and created a new picture. But just as life was starting to look promising again destruction came creeping back onto the lands.

Freak storms hit the coastal regions, forcing the equines to look for higher ground. At the same time the arid inland regions suffered under a merciless drought that caused the plants to whither and die. Homeless and starving, the horses began to seek shelter in the elemental lands.

But what will the remaining Lords and Ladies think of this sudden swarm of visitors? Will they welcome their subjects back or will they refuse to allow the disloyal ones back into their lands?
